Now this is what Lois Lane should look like. Here’s the only reason you need to watch Smallville, Erica Durance. And, believe it or not, she can actually act. The Smallville cast isn’t exactly known for the all-star performances they give but Erica Durance plays a perfect Lois Lane. In Frank Miller’s upcoming “Holy Terror, Batman!”, Batman faces off against Al Qaeda after Gotham City is attacked by the terrorists. Miller is writing, drawing and inking this 200 page graphic novel that he calls “a piece of propaganda”, where “Batman kicks Al Qaeda’s @$$.”

Frank Miller’s the guy who created Sin City. You’ve seen how people are beaten up in that movie/comic right? Now you have an idea of what Batman is going to do to these terrorists.

Rosario Dawson has confirmed the rumor that Robert Rodriguez wants Angelina Jolie for the role of Ava in Sin City 2. Here’s what she said in an interview with Sci Fi Wire:

“The film’s been kind of postponed because Robert has been interested in Angelina Jolie for the lead. But she’s very pregnant right now. So that’s putting an understandable hold on the film”.

So it looks like Angelina Jolie as Ava is going to happen. Robert Rodriguez is a genius.

There’s a rumour going around that Keanu Reeves is set to play The Silver Surfer in the next Fantastic Four movie. Now if you’ve seen The Matrix, you’ve seen keanu with a shaved head and you’ve probably come to the same conclusion I have: Keanu looks ridiculous with a shaved head.

At this weekend’s Wonder Con, it was announced that Grant Morrison will be the new regular writer on Batman. Anyone who’s read Morrison’s JLA knows he writes the best Batman. Morrison said that his Batman story is called “Batman & Son” and that he’s already plotted 15 issues. Hopefully we’ll see a multi-year run from Morrison and not one of those “Hit & Run” stays that most writers/artists are doing these days.

Looks like Angelina Jolie might be playing Ava in the next Sin City movie (based on the graphic novel A Dame to Kill For). The New York Daily News has an interesting story with Angelina Jolie and Robert Rodriguez hanging out. We know that Rodriguez is looking for his Ava and considering Angelina Jolie will be busy with her pregnancy until the end of summer, her availability and start date for the film match up nicely. Great choice Robert! Here’s hoping it’s true.
