In Frank Miller‘s upcoming “Holy Terror, Batman!”, Batman faces off against Al Qaeda after Gotham City is attacked by the terrorists. Miller is writing, drawing and inking this 200 page graphic novel that he calls “a piece of propaganda”, where “Batman kicks Al Qaeda’s @$$.”

Frank Miller’s the guy who created Sin City. You’ve seen how people are beaten up in that movie/comic right? Now you have an idea of what Batman is going to do to these terrorists.

Rosario Dawson has confirmed the rumor that Robert Rodriguez wants Angelina Jolie for the role of Ava in Sin City 2. Here’s what she said in an interview with Sci Fi Wire:

“The film’s been kind of postponed because Robert has been interested in Angelina Jolie for the lead. But she’s very pregnant right now. So that’s putting an understandable hold on the film”.

So it looks like Angelina Jolie as Ava is going to happen. Robert Rodriguez is a genius.

Looks like Angelina Jolie might be playing Ava in the next Sin City movie (based on the graphic novel A Dame to Kill For). The New York Daily News has an interesting story with Angelina Jolie and Robert Rodriguez hanging out. We know that Rodriguez is looking for his Ava and considering Angelina Jolie will be busy with her pregnancy until the end of summer, her availability and start date for the film match up nicely. Great choice Robert! Here’s hoping it’s true.

Kevin Smith‘s Clerks 2 has a website with a whole bunch of video journals of behind the scenes stuff. There are some really good ones but there’s one in particular that is really cool and a must see: Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez giving their 2 cents after watching the film. Check that one out here and the rest can be seen here. Now if they can only do a few more video journals with Rosario Dawson…

Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez are making a movie together… sort of. They’re writing and directing independent 60 minute films that will be shown together under the Grind House name. The Rodriguez portion will be a zombie-based movie called Planet Terror. Tarantino’s portion will be a slasher film called Death Proof. But it won’t be your ordinary slasher film. The killer will be using a car instead of a knife. Ouch!
The planned release date is September 22, 2006.
