Jay-Z Boycotts Cristal

Jay-Z Boycott Christal

Jay-Z has decided to boycott Cristal after being offended by comments made in an interview with The Economist Magazine by Frederic Rouzaud, managing director of Louis Roederer, the company that produces the champagne.

Asked by the magazine if the association between Cristal and the “bling lifestyle” could be detrimental, Rouzaud replied:

“That’s a good question, but what can we do? We can’t forbid people from buying it. I’m sure Dom Perignon or Krug would be delighted to have their business.”

The comments left a bad taste in Jay-Z’s mouth. The rapper said he would pull Cristal from his small chain of popular sports lounges — where bottles of Cristal sell for $450 and $600 — as well as from his personal flutes.

Superman is Not Gay

Superman Returns Got Milk

There’s a rumor going around that Superman is portrayed gay in the upcoming Superman Returns film. First off, that’s ridiculous. Second, that’s ridiculous. Here’s what director Bryan Singer had to say about all this.

Superman “is probably the most heterosexual character in any movie I’ve ever made,” said Bryan Singer, director of “Superman Returns,” a new movie about the crime-fighting superhero that opens June 28. “I don’t think he’s ever been gay.”
