Here’s the teaser poster for the upcoming Star Trek movie. JJ Abrams, creator of Lost and Alias, is helming the film which means we might see a Star Trek movie that won’t suck. The movie is a prequel to the original series and is going to focus on a young Captain Kirk, rumored to be played by Matt Damon, and how the original crew got together. As long as there are Starfleet officers in red shirts getting killed by the dozen and exotic green alien babes, I’m in. Now is there any way they can cast Enterprises Jolene Blalock in the movie?

The Fountain is the movie that Brad Pitt grew a stupid looking beard for and then took off when filming was about to start. Classy. I’m happy he left because I don’t think he’s that great of an actor. Hugh Jackman, who took over the lead role, is ten times a better actor. Anyways, the movie looks really good and if you can’t wait for it to open this October 13, you can buy the comic here. All great movies are also comics. You didn’t know?
