Rosario Dawson is my type of girl! No, not just because she’s one of the hottest celebrities I’ve ever seen (still a good reason); I like Rosario because she’s smart. You see, she chose to be in BOTH parts of Grind House. Why settle for being in a Rodriguez movie or a Tarantino movie when you can be in both? Smart. So we’ll be getting an extra dose of Rosario in the double feature, which is something we all need. We also need some more pictures of her tongue. Wow.

Alright, here’s the first good up close shot of a Transformer from the Transformers Movie. When I first saw this picture of Bumblebee’s face I wasn’t too crazy about it; his face looked a little too “mechanical”. But now it’s grown on me. He actually looks like a Bumblebee. I’m really curious as to what the other characters look like. Who isn’t, right?

Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco are called back to shoot more action scenes for Spider-Man 3 after test audiences complained the movie didn’t have enough action. Here’s James Franco talking to MTV and confirming action reshoots for the movie:

“The next thing I’m shooting? Re-shoots on Spider-Man… Probably next month. Director Sam Raimi wants more action.”

I’m actually surprised by this. How could a movie with three villains not have enough action? Either the test audiences were brain dead zombies or the movie’s focusing a little too much on the relationships. Whatever the case may be, it looks like we’ve got a little more action now. Hmmm, maybe they should have shown Superman Returns to these brain dead zombies before releasing it.

Spin Magazine has a list of the “25 Greatest Live Bands Now”. Here’s the top 10:

10. The Dirtbombs
9. Prince
8. The Hives
7. Green Day
6. White Stripes
5. Radiohead
4. Red Hot Chili Peppers
3. Arcade Fire
2. The Stooges
1. U2

I’ve seen a lot of the bands on the list; the Chili Peppers, The Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Queens of the Stone Age… all of them great. But there’s no other band that is better live than U2. I’ve seen U2 several times and they just keep getting better. Kudos to Spin for giving top spot to a “non-college” band like Rolling Stone probably would have. Here’s the rest of the list.

As a side note, the worst band I saw live was Nirvana. Serious. Kurt Cobain hid behind a big speaker the whole show.
