Transformers The Movie: Megatron Pictures

These are pictures of what Megatron is going to look like in the Transformers movie. You remember Megatron right? Well, that doesn’t look like Megatron. That doesn’t even look like a robot. It looks like a creature from The Mummy Returns. And what the hell is he doing transforming into an “alien jet”? C’mon, make him a tank and put a cannon on his forearm. I actually like the movie designs for the characters but this is just awful. Now these are ”work in progress” designs so there’s still hope we’ll see Megatron blast some autobots with his arm cannon.

What are they doing to my beloved Tranformers? Why are they doing this? That is the most disgusting character design to ever bare the name transformers/not to mention the mighty Megatron!
Why can’t they just give us what we want real authentic looking G1 Transformers thats it very simple. I hate that design of Megatron I can’t even tell where his face stops and mouth begins? It’s just a scary monster like design straight out of some Japanese anime cartoon or something. I’m starting to get the sense that hollywood, this directer, with hasbro’s permission are going to ruin this movie, which has the potential to be amazing, hasbro you should be doing something to see that the designs stay true to the form of the originals. Ahhh I’m just so very disappointed.

Yeah, very scared now to go see the movie. I really hope that that is just a prototype because that just isn’t Megatron. The arem cannon is a must.Please fix him Dreamcast!

transformers is an institution i can understand not making megatron a gun but like one of the previous comments states make him a tank or summit along those lines! he needs a cannon on his arm that made megatron different. i saw the desighn for prime and it don’t look bad they have kept him (almost) as his generation one design. All i can say is if they mess this one up (which looks they will) there will be hell to pay because we want a movie thats going to blow our socks off and take us back to the good ol days do us proud………. please

I do hope this is not the final design of megatron. they can afford some changes like makin bumblebee a camero instead of the original vw beetle. but if prime or megatron don’t measure up to whats expected then the movie will be a flop! the arm cannon must be with him. starscream is the jet not megatron GET IT RIGHT!
