Zooey Deschanel Plays Janis Joplin

Super cute Zooey Deschanel has replaced Pink as Janis Joplin in the upcoming Penelope Spheeris directed bio pic. Now I’m a big Zooey fan, I think she’s unbelievably cute, but I can’t stand Janis Joplin. I actually have physical pain when I hear one of her songs. Even if Zooey were to appear nude throughout the movie, there’s still no way in hell I’d go see it. Well… maybe.

Well I personally LOVE Janis Joplin. I think that she was a sexy and cool blues mama! I think that Zooey is pretty and has a GREAT singing voice but Janis had something that made her different. She had something that would be impossible to duplicate. So I hope that Zooey doesn’t screw it up.
