Brad Pitt for Mission Impossible 4?

Brad Pitt Mission Impossible 4

Now here’s one rumor I hope isn’t true. Paramount wants Brad Pitt to take over the Mission Impossible franchise and they’re willing to pay $39 million to get him.

“MI:IV will not include Cruise’s character, agent Ethan Hunt. They’re considering a brief mention, saying Hunt retired to live a safe life with his new wife,” an insider was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying.

“They’re set on Brad taking over as a gutsy new head operative who puts together his own unique team of specialists,” he added.

Sources say Paramount is prepared to do whatever it takes to get Pitt on board, and is even willing to make him the highest-paid movie star in history, with a salary topping £21 million.

There’s no way Brad Pitt is even worth 1/4 of that amount. I honestly don’t think he’s that great of an actor (sorry ladies) and even if he is (he’s not), $39 Million is ridiculous. Give $5 million to Hugh Jackman and I bet he’ll do a better job.

  2. You’re right. I’m so sorry. I take back everything I said. He was amazing in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.

  3. Ethan Hunt always has been Tom cruise.

  4. ok…my first time really on this site. now saying brad pitt isnt an amazing actor…i’ma have to pull th hater card on this one. he was amazing in seven, 12 monkeys, fight club, snatch…just to name a few.

and for any smart ass like “oh well he was great in holly wood” every actor is gonna pic bad roles. it happens. get over it.

but in the MI role i’ma have to say i wouldnt buy it. cuz as much as i love me some brad….i couldnt see that role going to anyone else besides crazy cruise.

  5. I agree, Brad Pitt not a good fit for MI:IV. I was thinking Matt Damon, but Hugh Jackman might work!
