Jessica Alba is one of the sexiest women on the planet. No doubt about it. So what happens when she shoves gummy bears up her nose? Well, she looks ridiculous. But this is Jessica Alba we’re talking about, and it will take a lot more than booger-covered gummy bears to make her look bad. Terminator 3’s sexy cyborg Kristanna Loken has landed a TV series. She’s set to play the comicbook character Painkiller Jane next spring on the Sci Fi Channel. It’s about time she got a regular gig. Here’s the lowdown:
Based on the comic book created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, ‘Painkiller Jane’ is the story of Jane Vasko (Loken), a DEA agent who is recruited by a covert government organization tasked with capturing “Neuros” - genetically-enhanced individuals who possess superhuman powers of the mind. During the course of her first investigation with the team, Jane inexplicably discovers that she too possesses extraordinary abilities - abilities that render her impervious to injury but not pain.
In other words, she carries guns and can’t get hurt but feels pain. So, you can assume there will be pretty messed up scenes like a truck falling on her, or her shoelace getting stuck in an escalator. Just like in Terminator 3. Except for the shoelace thing.

The Human Torch is one lucky guy. Chris Evans‘ character hooked up with Maria Menounos in the first Fantastic Four movie, and for the sequel, The Rise of The Silver Surfer, he’s landed MTV hottie Vanessa Minnillo. I’m not crazy about celebrities and VJ’s getting movie roles just because they’re famous, but I won’t complain in this case. More Vanessa is good for everyone.
I’ve also posted a great shot of Jessica Alba from the filming of Fantastic Four 2. Hopefully she won’t go invisible too often in this one.
