Batman Does The Batusi

This is classic. Batman’s famous Batusi dance. This show was full of non-stop laughs. C’mon, Batman orders a “large fresh orange juice” at a dance club! Why the hell hasn’t the old Batman TV show been released on DVD? They’re releasing so many other crap TV shows, you would think they would have already release this one.

The reason Batman has not gone to DVD is due to current litigation between studio execs who hold the rights to Batman(not sure which) and the surviving relatives of producer William Dozier. Apparently the suit is due to the studio defrauding Dozier out of millions in royalties they didn’t pay out. Bottom line is that the relative’s got a contract on the deal and the studio is trying to weasel out of what they owe, so you do the math. It’s going to be a while before this one is resolved.
