Top 5 Most Anticipated Movies of 2007
Monday, January 8th, 2007Here’s my list of the five movies I’m most excited about seeing in 2007. It was actually a tough list to come up with considering how many good movies are coming out this year, but that’s definitely a good sign for all of us movie buffs. 5. Spider-Man 3
The Spider-Man films have always been entertaining (yes, even with a Power Rangers Green Goblin), and the third one looks like it will be the best one yet. Seeing the big bad Venom on screen is going to be a blast.
4. Black Snake Moan
You guys have seen Hustle & Flow right? Well if you haven’t, go rent it now. Then you’ll know why writer/director Craig Brewer’s new film about a bluesman (Jackson) who tries to “cure” a wild young woman (Ricci) is going to be one of the best films of 2007.
3. Transformers
I grew up in the 80’s so the Transformers movie is obviously on my list. I’m a little worried with some of the robot designs, but I’m sure we’ll all look past that once we see our first live Transformer transform.
2. 300
Frank Miller’s 300 is going to be this years Sin City and Gladiator rolled up in one movie. That should be enough to get you to the theatre. If not, then check out the awesome trailer.
1. Grindhouse
Quentin Tarantino. Robert Rodriguez. Two movies for the price of one. It can’t get better than that. Grindhouse is going to be the most fun you’re going to have at the movies this year.
