Sophia Bush Up For Wonder Woman?

Sophia Bush has just joined the large list of actresses up for the role of Wonder Woman. But this might be a little bit more than just a rumour, thanks to the hint Sophia gave while being interviewed by IESB:
When asked whether she had discussed playing Wonder Woman with the powers that be, Bush simply replied, “Maybe.” Oh, and then she smiled.
Sounds to me like someone might be real happy they’re in talks for the role. So is she a good fit? Actually, out of all the names already linked to the Wonder Woman role, I think Sophia is by far the best choice. She’s a capable actress, and physically, well, she’s beautiful. She might just have to put on a little muscle, but other than that, get her into that famous tiara, and we have our Wonder Woman.

i agree she’s perfect for the role except that DC Comics portrays Wonder Woman as tall as the average adult man.

I dunno…she does look like that picture, but Wonder Woman needs more than the sassy teen/scream queen acting that I’ve only ever seen from her. I’ve been rooting for Lauren Graham since I first heard they were considering a movie.

I’m not a huge fan of comic book movies but I would watch any movie with her in Wonder Woman’s outfit:)

I agree – Lauren Graham would be perfect for the role. Sophia may look great as Wonder Woman, but her acting does not meet the requirements. Lauren would be a MUCH better choice.

Jill Wagner, the “Mercury Girl”, is also up for the role, and has met with Joel Silvers’ staff.

What Lauren Graham hasn’t done anything? Well you know nothing, she’s been on Seinfeld, News Radio, the bad Santa movie with Billy Bob, I’m sure there’s more but thats the stuff I remember.
But I guess you’re right, she plays funny roles better than a stiff in a push up bra. With out the WonderBra Wonder Woman would just be Woman.

I think Sophia Bush would make a good Wonder Woman. If she does get this role this movie will definitely move her from just a television star to a more pronounced actress. She definitely has the look to be Wonder Woman. I will be excited to see this movie in the future. Most movies are all male superheroes so this will be an exciting movie. I am a fan of One Tree Hill so I still look forward to see what happens with Sophia’s character on the show.
