It Looks like we might be getting one more Spider-Man movie directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire. Raimi recently hinted to Premiere magazine that he’s up for a fourth Spidey flick.

“I love Spider-Man and I love working with Kirsten (Dunst), Tobey, James (Franco)…I have to make sure that when I’m done with this picture (Spider-Man 3) I’m really still fascinated with the character (before signing on for another). At this moment I’m fascinated with him.”

But Raimi insists he couldn’t imagine making a fourth installment if Maguire didn’t sign on for it. He adds, “I’d rather not… I couldn’t imagine it.”

Raimi definitely sounds like he wants to do a fourth Spider-Man movie, but it looks like it’s all up to Tobey Maguire. Personally, I can’t see anyone else other than Maguire as Peter Parker. He’s Spider-Man. Not Jake Gyllenhaal or Jason Biggs or whoever. I’ll be happy if they make another Spidey flick, but just as long as the cast and crew stay the same.
