Check out this Atari commercial from 1982 starring a young Jack Black. He looks exactly the same… well, maybe a bit thinner. Anybody else remember the PitFall game? Damn those giant scorpions!

I also remember a young (not this young, though) Tom Hanks doing an Activision commercial where he’s asking some bemused clerks for Pitfall for Intelivision (it was to announce that “Pitfall” and, I think, “Stampede” were going to be made for that system). The clerks crack up laughing at him and Tom Hanks does this spastic looking-back-and-forth-between-the-two-clerks thing that is burned into my head forever. If you can find this video, I will give you this: one dollar.
