The Oscar And Razzie Nominations Are In
January 23rd, 2007

The Oscar nominations were announced today with a few surprises. I was actually one of the many who thought Sacha Baron Cohen would have been nominated for his Borat role. Too bad; at least he got a nomination for Best Addapted Screenplay. Nice to see Ryan Gosling get a nom for his amazing performance in Half Nelson. And this has to be the year that Martin Scorsese wins.
The Razzie nominations were also announced today. For those of you who don’t know, the Razzies are the awards given to the worst in film.
