300 Makes $70 Million!

Zack Snyder’s 300 made a little over $70 million this weekend, making it the biggest March opening ever, the biggest opening for a movie in 2007 so far, and the 3rd biggest opening for a R-rated movie (after Matrix Reloaded and the Passion of the Christ).
I caught the movie on Saturday and I thought it was amazing from beginning to end, but I didn’t think it would break so many records and make that much money. Well, the movie deserves every penny it makes. Great job to all involved. I highly recommend it. 8.5/10
