It’s never a good sign when a movie goes straight to DVD. It usually means there’s a very small budget, so big stars, and that it will most likely be a crapfest. And, considering how bad the Dukes of Hazzard movie remake was, why would anyone bother with the straight to DVD prequel, Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning? Well, here’s why. One of our favourite celebrity babes, April Scott, stars in the movie as Daisy Duke. So no matter how bad the movie probably will be, watching April will be well worth the pain. I hope.

And breaking up with the guy from Good Charlotte wins her a few bonus points. She definitely looks better without him.

With all the recent speculation regarding Salma Hayek, it looks as if the secret is out. She’s pregnant. Ya, that kind of makes sense. Not only is she pregnant, but, hold on to your hats, she’s engaged. Ya, she’s off the market guys.

Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek is pregnant and engaged to a French businessman whose firm owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, her spokeswoman said on Friday. “Francois-Henri Pinault and his fiancee, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child,” spokeswoman Ina Treciokas said in a one-paragraph statement.

Well, that definitely explains things. My work is done here.
