No, this isn’t one of Robert Smigel’s TV Funhouse cartoons. This is an actual, un-edited fight scene from the Superfriends cartoon. I can’t believe I actually liked this show as a kid. The characters just stand around and announce their next plan of action. Someone actually got paid to write this?

MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo has decided to leave Total Request Live for bigger better things. Here’s what she tells People:

“I had my four years there like high school or college,” Minnillo, 26, said Tuesday at a benefit for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. “I’m ready for the next chapter – what it is, I have no idea. [But] I don’t want to be 48 saying, ‘Hey kids, now it’s Sean Preston Spears’s video.’ ”

Personally, I think she should have left the show a long time ago to peruse an acting career. She’s easy on the eyes and has that extra something so this is definitely a good move. We’ll be seeing her next in the Fantastic Four sequel.

I’m not sure what Hilary Duff is doing hanging out with an elephant at the Polo Ball Black-tie Gala, but she sure looks cute doing so. Our buddies over at Ain’t It Cool News received a photo earlier today of what looks like a make-up test shot of the Joker for the upcoming Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight. I’d still consider it a rumour at this point, but he looks pretty close to what people have been suggesting the character is going to look like in the film. I’ve been reading the Batman comics to catch up with what may be in store regarding the movie and designs/storylines, and the pic looks close to a recent appearance by the Joker in Batman #663, but I’m still sceptical until the studio releases an official picture.

Scarlett Johansson hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend, and as you can see by the pictures, she should definitely be a regular on the show… that is as long as she gets to wear that same dress. Her SNL appearance also proves that some poll results, such as the recent “Sexiest Body In The World” which Scarlett tops, are not all full of crap.
