I personally miss the Falcon’s enginges – especially great is the turn near Bespin in ESB – but most people might miss Jabba’s laughter.

Any time the falcon’s engines go into lightspeed, i have to change my pants.
Also, the way snow speeders hum.

I agree Chewie and the Falcon’s sound effects are a must for this list.

AT-AT’s walking, Chewbacca’s growl, Jawa’s talking, Falcon engines… I’d have any of them in before those two characters from the new trilogy or the seismic charge sound.

Chewbacca and the Falcon…of course!

I think you may be talking about #8, the Techno Union Army.
I too think the Falcon’s engine noise, and Chewbacca’s growl are must-haves for this list.
I would easily replace Poggle the Lesser and the Techno Union Army for those.

The sound of a fully armed and operational death star is rather impressive as well.

I think the best sound in the entire movie series is the stormtrooper’s head bouncing off of the door frame. In fact, they enhanced the noise for the DVD re-re-release.

How could they not have the podracer engines? The only redeeming factor of the new episodes?
