It looks like Scarlett Johansson is about to join Samuel L. Jackson on Frank Miller’s The Spirit movie, which is based on Will Eisner’s famous comicbook. Here’s the skinny:

For “Spirit,” Miller’s adaptation of the classic Eisner film noir comic strip series, Johansson is in final negotiations to play a dangerous beauty named Silken Floss. Eisner’s strip was known for its women with dangerous curves, and Miller is intent on keeping that tradition. (Source)

It sounds like a great role, but to tell you the truth, I would have liked to have seen Scarlett in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s next Sin City instalment (for obvious reasons). Still, I’m not going to complain. I’ve always wanted to see Scarlett in a comicbook movie, and I’m sure Frank Miller is going to do everything he can to have Scarlett looking as sexy as can be.
