Jessica Alba’s The Eye Trailer

I’m usually interested in any new movie that stars Jessica Alba, but the trailer for The Eye doesn’t exactly impress. Why would they release a trailer without any dialogue or some sort of description on what the movie is about? The Trailer is literally just a bunch of scenes over some music. So I guess I’ll just have to do all the work:
Sydney Wells (Alba) is a hot violinist who has been blind since a childhood accident. She undergoes an operation and gets her sight back thanks to a new set of eyeballs. Then things get all scary when she starts seeing some monsters and other freaky stuff.
See? They should have had a voice-over refereeing to Jessica Alba as a hot violinist. Now the movie sounds interesting.

I don’t know if I totally agree. I think some dialogue, at least some sort of intro, could be more effective. But this is just the teaser. And it certainly teases you. So hopefully the theatrical trailer will tell us more. But it looks scary to me. I’d go see it just off of this trailer.
