10) Petra Nemcova

There wasn’t any other celebrity that we obsessed over more so than supermodel Petra Nemcova (well, other than our #1). She was all over the place in ’07 and that was perfectly fine with us. We posted on Petra any chance we could get, whether it was an interesting news story or, as most of the cases were, just hot photos of her. And you know what? We still can’t get enough of her.

9) Rihanna

Sure Rihanna was well known before, but it was in 2007 that she became a huge star. She was defnitely the female musician of the year (I’m reffereing to her celebrity status; music-wise I much prefer Feist). Not only did she become a huge music star, but she also surprised us with how hot she can be when she wants to. Forget about the old track pants wearing Rihanna; 2007 introduced us to the hot Rihanna that we all know and love now.

8) Olivia Munn

Attack of the Show’s Oliva Munn wasn’t just every fanboy’s perfectly crafted fantasy, she was ours as well. How could she not be? In 2007 we saw Oliva dress up as Wonder Woman, put on Princess Leia’s gold bikini, and basically looked ultra hot every single day while presenting the latest in pop culture news. Olivia convinced every geek that there’s more to life than completing their collection of Generation 1 Transformers, and that my friends, is damn near impossible.

7) Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan didn’t make the list because she was in the news non-stop; she made the list because she turned me into a fan of hers (we’re talking purely in a superficial way of course). I was never a fan of hers but somehow she did all the right things (bikinis, tight t-shirts, revealing tops), and had me doing posts on her every chance I could get. Say what you want about her, but you can’t deny that she’s a total babe.

6) Kim Kardashian

Care to take a guess as to why Kim Kardashian is in the top 10? Yup, you got it; Kim’s crazy curves, specifically her booty, had everyone mesmerized this past year. Kim quickly became a star thanks to her roller coaster curves and humps, along with her infamous videotape and reality show. But really, it’s all about the booty.

5) Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba was chosen as our number five celebrity of the year because a) she’s still really, really hot, b) she had the most productive year out of all the other celebrities on the list, and c) we had a blast crapping on her each and every single time she said how unsexy she thinks she is… and she said that a lot. Basically, 2007 was the year that Jessica Alba tried to convince us that she isn’t as hot as we think she is. Alrighty then…

4) Katharine McPhee

Now here’s somebody who’s hot and wants the world to know it, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee. She might have lost to whatshisface, but Katharine was the real winner. She was all over the place and a fan favorite, especially in the celebrity blog world. And showing off her killer legs and flirting with the camera every chance she got didn’t hurt her popularity either.

3) Hayden Panettiere

I think it’s safe to say that Hayden Panettiere has replaced the Paris Hiltons and the Britney Spears of the celebrity world as the new “It Girl”, and thank God for that. Not only does she star on one of the most popular shows on TV, but she’s also as cute as a button and I’d gladly focus on her rather than all those other spoiled celebrity brats.

2) Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff is the success story of the year. And why is that you ask? Because she went from being a boring pop/movie star who hardly ever showed any skin, to a total hottie. I tracked (and predicted) her transformation in great detail (i.e. pictures), and was completely satisfied with the end result, as most of you were as well. Here’s hoping we see more smoking photoshoots and pictures of her prancing around in bikins in ’08.

1) Megan Fox

The celebrity babe of 2007 is without a doubt, Megan Fox. It wasn’t even a contest in my mind, and if you’re a regular reader of Popoholic, you pretty much knew she would be number one, right? And if for some crazy reason I didn’t put her as number one, I would have heard it from you guys, I’m sure. From starring in the biggest movie of the year, to beating out Angelina Jolie in our “Megan Fox Vs. Angelina Jolie” poll, Megan dominated 2007. Megan Fox is arguably the hottest celebrity on the planet right now (she can melt an iceberg with that over the shoulder look she always gives), and she’s going to be very, very hard to beat in ’08.
