The 2008 Oscar nominations were announced today, without any big surprises. No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood led the pack with eight nominations, and it’s a given that one of the two will win for best movie (where the hell is 3:10 To Yuma!?). Best actor will go to the greatest living actor today, Daniel Day-Lewis or there will be riots in the streets (well, at least on my street). I’m actually looking forward to seeing how this year’s Academy Awards plays out with the WGA strike and all, but am I the only one who thinks Chris Rock would better suit a non-scripted show?

Lindsay Lohan had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction the other day (see first two pics). Yes, I know it’s hardly anything to write home about, but it still is Lindsay Lohan, and you guys know how much I dig her, and considering that all we’ve seen her in the past few months were 40-something leggings, we should cherish these shots. Now do you see (literally) why I can’t stand her wearing those stupid leggings?

The extremely underrated Eliza Dushku decided to grace us with her presence and step back into the spotlight when she attended this past weekend’s 2008 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, to promote her new movie Bottle Shock.

Eliza was seen all over the place in ultra-tight leather pants (a prerequisite when you have a body like hers), and warming up with Rachael Taylor (if you don’t know who Rachael Taylor is, she’s the Aussie cutie in Transformers who nearly stole the show from Megan Fox)… both visions that I would gladly suffer frostbite for.

I was going to start saying how hot Fergie actually looks in these pictures of her performing on stage and grabbing her booty, but then I noticed her fly was open. And judging from the look on the faces of the two dancers in the top photo, it wasn’t part of the show. I’m sure they were praying that Fergie didn’t have to go to the bathroom.

Lindsay Lohan wasn’t the only celebrity to get some attention at the Cloverfield premiere the other night. Kristin Cavallari was also there and, as you can see, she looked amazing.

I’ve hardly done any posts on Kristin in the last few months, and it’s not just because I’m not that into her anymore, it’s also because she has hardly been seen anymore. Having said that, showing up at the premiere looking like a million bucks is a great way of getting back into the spotlight. Next time though, she should wear a much shorter dress… just my opinion.

Hold on to your phasers everyone, the teaser trailer for JJ Abram’s Star Trek has been leaked. I admit, I’m a huge Star Trek fan (but only of the original series), so I’m totally up for this movie, even if it is a brand new cast. If you are a bigtime Star Trek nerd, I guarantee you will have goosebumps at the sight of the new Enterprise being built and of Leonard Nimoy’s voice over.

Check out the trailer as soon as you can because it won’t be up for much longer. I will, however, be replacing it as often as I can and I’ll post a better quality version as soon as it’s officially released, which should be very, very soon.

I didn’t think photos of Katherine Heigl arriving at the David Letterman lot would be post-worthy, but as you can see, they are. Katherine looks like a doll, and she definitely knows how to dress and get your attention (wink, wink). I’ve also added the video of her appearance on the show. Check it out and watch Dave gush over Katherine as well… although is it me or is she kinda annoying? Or is she just really cute?

Top 10 Celebrities Of 2007!

The X-Files is my favorite TV show of all time, so when I heard that they were making a second movie, I was overjoyed. But that was years ago and it started to look like it was all a bunch of hooey. Well, the movie officially started filming in this past December and today we have some hard evidence for you: pictures of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully from the set on The X-Files 2! And here’s even more good news straight from creator Chris Carter regarding what kind of movie we can expect:

“We spent a lot of time on (the mythology) and wrapped up a lot of threads”. “We want a stand-alone movie, not a mythology conspiracy one.” (Source)

It’s great to see the two of them together again and the fact that the movie won’t deal with the alien conspiracy that dragged the show down is good to hear. And is it just me or is Scully even hotter now than she was back in the day? The X-Files 2 is set to hit theatres on July 25th, 2008.

Here’s Lindsay Lohan dropping a few jaws at last night’s Cloverfield premiere in LA. As most of you know, I’m really excited about seeing Cloverfield tomorrow, but if there’s one thing even more exciting than a good ol’ fashion monster movie, it’s Lindsay Lohan and her wonderful cleavage. I know it’s stylish to say how much one despises her, but I’m on the other side of the fence. Look at her; the girl is hot! End of story! Now go enjoy the movie!
