M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening Trailer

The long awaited trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening has finally hit the net and it looks superb. We still don’t know what happens (hehe) in the movie other than $#&! hits the fan, but it looks very, very interesting, just like all of Shyamalan’s flicks.
I know a lot of people were upset after Lady In The Water and The Village, but I still think he’s one of the best filmmakers of the last 20 years. Even if the plot twists are painfully obvious, there’s no denying that the rest of the movies are masterfully crafted and filled with suspense. The Happening stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, and John Leguizamo and hits theatres on June 13th. Can’t wait!

Lady in the water was so bad I had to have a seizure to get out of there (it worked!). Let’s hope there’s no need for a repeat performance on my end.

I disagree about Lady in the Water. When I watched it I took it for what it was, a fairy tale. And I was really entertained. In fact, I was quite moved by it. Hell, it had enough impact to make me write a comment on a website, which I never do!
