Oscars 2008

Were you so bored with the Oscars that you shut off your TV after thirty minutes? Don’t worry; you didn’t miss much, but here’s a sixty second video of all the highlights.

Now, two things: Transformers didn’t win best visual effects. The Golden Compass‘ CG polar bears beat out the movie with the best visual effects since the Matrix… absolutely ridiculous. At least Daniel Day-Lewis won best actor, and not to toot my own horn, but I called it even before There Will Be Blood was released in theatres. Yes, bow before me mere mortals!

  1. Oscar’s was definitely boring. Your wrong about Transformers as best visual effects…..Not that Golden Compass deserves it either, but Transformers was sub par, very shaky at times, its like the entire movie was trying to make us seem like there was an earthquake going on while the Autobots and Decepticons were fighting.
