I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like we won’t be seeing Kate Beckinsale in skin-tight latex suits in any of her upcoming movies. Here’s the skinny:

British actress KATE BECKINSALE has vowed not to take any more glamorous movie roles – declaring her time as a “sex-bomb” is over. She says, “The sex-bomb thing is totally fun but you want to take the red shoes off sometimes. I’ve been wanting to do something more dramatic. “I don’t regret any of my movies but I do have a certain embarrassment about one or two of them.” (Source)

Well, another one bites the dust. It seems like more and more celebrities and shying away from the “sex symbol” image, and are yearning to be seen as serious actresses. But you know how this story goes, right? I give Kate Beckinsale two “dramatic” movie roles before she stars in a frisky film. At least I hope so. And after drooling over her uber hotness and drop dead sexy curves in these photos, I really, really hope so. Enjoy.

Here’s the new trailer for The X-Files 2 that was shown at the Paley Fest yesterday, and it’s excellent. It’s definitely better than the previous unofficial trailer that was leaked last month, and it really gets you exited about the film and the return of Mulder and Scully. I still have no clue what it’s about, but any X-Files fan will tell you that they couldn’t care less about the movie’s plot. Seeing Mulder and Scully back together again and hearing the familiar theme song is all the convincing any X-Files fan needs to be at the theatre on opening day. The X-Files 2 opens July 25th.

I thought I’d take a quick moment and show you some pictures of perfection personified: Emmanuelle Chriqui. It has been a painfully long time since we last saw Chriqui at an event or even on Entourage, but hopefully all that is going to change once she hits the big time with Adam Sandler’s upcoming You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. At least she better be a huge star after that, or there will be a riot in the streets.

Edward Norton’s long awaited Incredible Hulk trailer has finally hit the net, and it’s exactly what you would expect from a Hulk movie… finally. You don’t get to see the Hulk until the second half of the trailer, but in the first half you see Bruce Banner trying to find a cure for his “disease” while fleeing from the authorities, just like he should be doing instead of having a shouting match with Nick Nolte. And when you finally see the Hulk, he’s up against the Abomination, just who he should be fighting instead of giant mutant poodles. It looks like we’re finally going to see a good, fun Hulk movie when it hits theatres on June 13th 2008.

I’ve seen and posted so many trailers for Pixar’s new movie, WALL-E, that I’ve lost count. Surprisingly, given the amount of chances they’ve had and the fact that this is a Pixar production, none of them have really hooked me.

Well, today sees the release of the final (?) trailer and it’s the longest one yet, with more of the story revealed. The animation looks incredible, and there are a few funny moments as well, but I’m still not 100% sold on it. This is definitely the trailer that they should have released after the teaser though. WALL-E hits theatres June 27th 2008.

Here’s Jessica Alba looking absolutely breathtaking and showing off a ton of cleavage at the Paris premiere of her new movie The Eye. Now, let me get this straight. Non-pregnant Jessica Alba would constantly yap about how unsexy she would find herself and would drape herself in hippie-like clothing. Pregnant Jessica Alba doesn’t say a word anymore and wears mondo cleavage revealing dresses. I don’t get it. But I’m not one to figure out the mysteries of the universe. Enjoy.

As much as I dig Rihanna, she didn’t stand a chance next to a pregnant Jessica Alba at the Fendi Store opening in Paris the other day. Hmm, maybe it’s because she was dressed in a lion trainer’s outfit while Jessica Alba wore a dress that showed off her mondo cleavage? Ya, I think that might have had something to do with it. Better luck next time Rihanna!
