Good old Scarlett Johansson doesn’t think sex scenes are a big deal. Sort of like eating toast. Here’s what she told Entertainment Tonight Canada about filming sex scenes with Javier Bardem in the upcoming Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

“It’s just so not a big deal,” she explained. “I think also because half the crew is standing around eating sandwiches, it really takes the edge off.

“I’m like, ‘You guys really want to go to lunch, don’t you? Alright, just give me the tongue, give me the tongue. We’ll go to lunch after this. Come on Javier, give it to me.’ That’s how it goes.” (Source)

First off, the crew is standing around watching you film a sex scene during their lunch break because watching you simulate sex is a big deal to them. Second, I’m sure Javier screwed up a couple takes on purpose because, you know, getting hot and heavy with you is a pretty big freaking deal. And third of all… there is no third of all! Scarlett Johansson and the words “sex” and “scene”, especially when put together, is a bigger deal than the 2008 elections!
