Here’s the new Coraline trailer and it looks absolutely incredible. Wow! When I first heard that they were making this movie and that it would be in stop motion and not in 3d animation I was a little disappointed, but not anymore. The movie looks jaw-dropping. Then again it is from the directed of The Nightmare Before Christmas and is based on the book by comicbook God Neil Gaiman, so I should have known better. Creepy goodness! Coraline hits theatres February 6, 2009.

My uber-crush Rosario Dawson hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend and the only good thing I can say about the show is that we got these cleavage-centric pictures out of it. I grew up watching Reading Rainbow and Star Trek: The Next Generation so you’ll have to excuse me if seeing LeVar Burton at the Live Diggnation event in LA prompts a video post. LeVar’s appearance at the shindig was a quick one, but he still managed to belt out a few lines from the Reading Rainbow theme song. The point of all this is that LeVar Burton rocks, and so does the Reading Rainbow theme song. Damn, was I lucky I had this growing up instead of a stupid purple dinosaur… but you don’t have to take my word for it.

Here’s Salma Hayek at the 2008 Nation Board of Review Awards gala looking like a million bucks. I don’t know how she does it but Salma looks even hotter than before she had a baby, which is practically impossible because she already looked too hot to be true. Although complaining that she looks like a tranny and Alan Alda to E!‘s Giuliana Rancic was stupid and annoying.
