Crank 2: High Voltage

A few weeks ago I posted the totally nuts Crank 2: High Voltage red band trailer, which looked awesome but the video quality wasn’t very good and the movie’s plotline was a little vague. Well, today we get the official crispy release and a better understanding as to what the hell is going on with Jason Statham’s character Chev Chelios.

This time around he needs to keep himself juiced with electricity to keep his artificial heart working while beating the living daylights out of bad guys standing in the way between him and his real heart. Freaking brilliant! Crank 2: High Voltage hits theatres April 17th 2009.

  1. david10006 Says:

Ya gotta love Statham, the dude can do it all. A really pretty good actor that can still beat the living snot of people, let’s see Leo what’s his name do that.

  2. Deacon Says:

    Wait…Crank 2?
Don’t you mean Transporter 5? After all, he plays the exact same guy in all of his movies, which are all exactly the same in of themselves.
(Save for that Dungeon Seige movie…of course if he could’ve shoved a car chase in there somewhere I’m sure he would have.)

  3. Grinspoon Says:

give the guy some credit. Ever seen Snatch or Lock Stock?
He is stuck in the role, of super tough guy, but he does it bloody well. He’s the number one action guy around these days. He does still good films out of the action mould like the Bank Job.
