Here’s the new Inglourious Basterds preview that was shown during American Idol the other night when Quentin Tarantino was a guest star. I got to tell you guys I’m still not feeling it. And it pains me to say that because Tarantino is my favorite filmmaker. I think it’s more Brad Pitt’s bad acting than anything else that’s turning me off. His scenes in the teaser trailer made me cringe, and his scenes in this clip aren’t helping. Hell, even his mannerisms are that of an amateur. Mike Myers (yes, that Mike Myers) looks fantastic though and barely recognizable. Inglourious Basterds hits theatres August 21st 2009.

Wow, they really went all out for a direct to DVD release, didn’t they? Well, they had a damn good reason… Smallville’s Laura Vandervoort in a bikini for ninety minutes! Here’s Laura at the premiere party for her new movie Into the Blue 2: The Reef, which has me more excited about a crappy direct to DVD movie than I have been since Road House 2: Last Call. And it’s all thanks to these promo pictures of Laura in a bikini we posted not too long ago. Oh, and also the fact that she has the best body in the known universe. Cheers.

Wow, this is not the Evan Rachel Wood I was excepting to see in a GQ magazine photoshoot. Yes, she’s a bit of a firecracker, and has been linked to guys like Marilyn Manson and Mickey Rourke, but I guess I’ve been picturing her a bit more wholesome ever since she was cast as Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man Musical/Play.

But here she looks more like a pissed off Black Widow (high five fanboys!). Anyways, I’m not complaining because she looks hot enough to convince me to join her on a life-threatening mission in Latveria so all is good on the shwingtastic front.
