One of the coolest cats on the planet, Patrick Swayze, passed away yesterday after his long battle with cancer. Most of you guys are probably too young to have seen Swayze in his prime, but to me and my generation, this guy kicked serious butt. And he did so in one of the best movies of all time, Road House, and in Point Break, where he played the “villain”, but you couldn’t tell because everyone was cheering for him. Hell, he was even cool in chick flicks like Ghost and Dirty Dancing.

Do yourselves a favor and least check out Roadhouse and Point Break. I guarantee that after just one viewing you’ll be getting the urge to rewatch both movies over and over again. And here’s my favorite scene from Road House just to give you an idea of the awesomeness that is Swayze. Rest in peace dude.
