I’ll be honest with you guys; I’ve never really dug Shakira. But the booty shaking songstress has been impressing the hell out of me lately, and it’s all thanks to her She Wolf album. I’ve gushed like a love-struck schoolgirl over the last two Kick-Ass trailers (see here and here) and how freaking awesome the movie looks, and if this new Hit-Girl centric red band trailer is any indication, it doesn’t look like I’m going to stop gushing anytime soon. Wow, this trailer is going to blow your minds… and it’ll also give you a tiny hint of the violence and carnage that’s in store.

I have to give props to Chloe Moretz, who plays the 11-year-old assassin Hit-Girl, and proclaim that she deserves some sort of film award based on the footage that has been released alone. And Nicolas Cage continues to redeem himself with his performance as Hit-Girl’s father, Big Daddy. Yup, Kick-Ass is going to rock 2010.
