Actress Brittany Murphy died yesterday after going into cardiac arrest. She was only thirty-two years old.

Brittany Murphy, the perpetually perky and slightly quirky actress who worked her way up from supporting parts to romantic leads after her breakout role in the film “Clueless,” died Sunday in Los Angeles. She was 32.

Ed Winter, an assistant chief coroner in Los Angeles County, told The Associated Press that Ms. Murphy apparently collapsed in the bathroom and that the cause of death “appears to be natural.” He said that an official cause of death might not be determined for some time. (Source)

It seems as if the last time we saw Brittany Murphy, it was in Sin City. And that’s a real shame because… well, look at her. How could a pretty gal like that not be all over magazines and in the current movies? She’s also one of the more original guests on TV talk shows and at events. But instead we get Paris Hilton. Sigh… Here’s hoping we get to see more of her soon.

This is so, so sad. She was a beauty, and I enjoyed all of her performances, especially as Shellie in Sin City. Rest in peace.

The full Iron Man 2 trailer has finally hit the’net and it’s freaking awesome! And as in the first flick, Tony Stark steals the show. Heck, Robert Downey Jr. is so good and entertaining as Tony Stark that I honestly wouldn’t mind if Iron Man wasn’t in the movie. But, to be honest, that doesn’t just have to do with Downey‘s most excellent performance; it looks like we’ll be getting some crazy superhero action courtesy from Scarlett Johansson as the sexy Black Widow, Mickey Rourke as a very menacing Whiplash, Don Cheadle as War Machine, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury… in a hopefully bigger role this time around. Woohoo, this movie is going to be amazing! Iron Man 2 hits theatres May 7, 2010.
