Kate Beckinsale went shopping at the 1969 boutique in Hollywood yesterday, and reminded everyone that she is, hands down, the hottest mom on the planet. First off, one look at her and it’s practically impossible to even think that she’s a mom. Second, she doesn’t even look her age (thirty-six). Hell, she puts hotties in their twenties to shame.

Anyways, the point is that Beckinsale is freaking hot, especially considering that she’s a thirty-six year old mom. Hence, why she was named Esquire magazine’s “Sexiest Woman Alive”, and why we jump at the chance to post pictures of her… even when she’s doing something as simple as shopping. Enjoy!

Here’s the new A Nightmare On Elm Street movie trailer, which looks fantastic, and judging by the first couple of scares and nightmare scenes, this isn’t going to be a goofball-filled movie like the older flicks were. The new Freddy Kruger, played by Jackie Earle Haley, is creepy as hell… no pun intended. Oh, and even if the movie does end up sucking, which I highly doubt, super hottie Katie Cassidy stars in the movie, and I would sit through two hours of watching Freddy Kruger pick at his scabs just to gawk at her for even a few minutes. A Nightmare On Elm Street hits theatres April 10th, 2010.

Whoa… now this is something totally out of left field. Here’s a music video of a “Turning Japanese” cover performed by and starring Kirsten Dunst in full cosplay* mode, and directed by none other than McG. Now normally I would be all over this video because of my fascination with the whole cosplay thing, but Kirsten Dunst just doesn’t do it for me. Actually, she’s pretty awful in the video. Now if you swapped Dunst with, let’s say… Smallville‘s Kristin Kreuk, well, then I’d be glued to my laptop screen for the rest of the week. According to some rather disappointing and baffling reports, super cutie Hilary Duff is engaged to NHL hockey player Mike Comrie. Yeah, that Mike Comrie. Here’s the skinny:

(RTTNews) – Hilary Duff is now engaged to NHL hockey player Mike Comrie. Comrie, 29, popped the question to the 22-year-old singer while the two were vacationing in Hawaii last weekend.

Duff’s rep told Us magazine, “After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news. They are thankful for all of your warm wishes.” (Source)

Ok, so I knew that the Duffster was dating Comrie, but I was always under the impression that she would dump him as soon as she realized who she was dating. I mean, this is Mike Comrie from the Edmonton Oilers for crying out loud… this isn’t Sidney Crosby we’re talking about. He’s a freaking nobody! A nobody with a ginormous head and unimpressive hockey skills. Sigh… but it looks like this nobody with a ginormous head and unimpressive hockey skills is the luckiest bastard of the year. Oh well, it could have been worse; the Duffster could have gotten engaged to Sean Avery, or worse yet, Dion Phaneuf.
