Gal Gadot Is Your New Wonder Woman!
December 5th, 2013Well, the rumors are true. Wonder Woman will be appearing in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman movie, and Warner Bros. have officially cast the role, and the lucky actress is none other than… Gal Gadot!? Ummmmm, here’s the skinny:
“Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe,” said director Zack Snyder, in a statement. “Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.” (Source)
Well, she came out of nowhere, eh? The only “big” role she has had was as Gisele Harrabo in the Fast and Furious franchise. But that’s not what I have a problem with. First off, yes; she’s freaking hot and totally jaw-dropping. And I actually can see her as Wonder Woman. I mean, she does have a stunning Greek look to her. But her body looks ultra tiny, and as everyone knows (I hope), Wonder Woman has some muscle on her and isn’t anywhere near petite. Wonder Woman has more of a Jessica Biel type of body.
And to be honest, ever since hearing Jaimie Alexander’s name attached to the role I have a hard time picturing anyone else as Princess Diana of Themyscira. But she’s already Lady Sif in the Thor franchise, and they want to obviously distance themselves from anything to do with Marvel, so I can’t blame them for not casting Jaimie. Damn, she would have been perfect. Anyways, you never know, right? I wasn’t crazy about Heath Ledger as Joker when it was first announced, and he nailed that role and got an Oscar for it. So we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, here’s a whole bunch of photos of Gal so we can all get better antiquated with her. And her hotness. Enjoy!

Snyder’s out of his mind. I doubt he could find any actress who’s less qualified to play the role. If this was the 50’s he’d probably want Audrey Hepburn. And can she act? On the basis of Fasst & Furious–who knows? Whatta dope!
