Tom Holland Filming As Spider-Man In Queens
September 28th, 2016Filming for the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming has moved to Queens and here are your… ahem… amazing first shots of Tom Holland jumping into action as Spider-Man in his hometown… wow! These are the nicest/clearest shots of Holland I’ve seen yet from the upcoming movie, and boy does he look great. He’s actually more buff than scrawny like I remembered him being in Captain America: Civil War. And he really does look like Peter Parker, eh? In the costume and even in his Hello Kitty pajamas. Bwahahahaha! Love it!
I know some people are complaining that the costume looks too “techy” but take it from a lifelong Spider-Man fan… it’s perfect. It’s modernized just enough. Actually, reminds me of the costume from the old ’60s cartoon more than anything else. A little Steve Dikto as well. I love the web shooters on the outside, and I absolutely love the tiny spider logo on his chest. But my favorite thing about the costume his how his mask looks when Holland’s pulling it off; it looks straight out of a Todd McFarlane panel. No CGI masks like in the previous movies. They’re doing this one right folks. Alright, enjoy the photos and check out the rest after the jump!
