The Watchmen trailer is finally here folks! One of the greatest graphic novels of all time (btw, graphic novel is just a snobby word for comicbook), comes to the big screen care of director Zack Snyder, who brought us the ass-kicking comicbook movie, 300. And just like 300, this movie looks like awesomeness personified!

I was worried when I heard that they were making Alan Moore’s comic masterpiece into a movie, but Snyder has reassured me with this trailer that he can do no wrong and that it is going to rule. I can go on and on, but I’m just going to tell you to go watch the trailer because it really is something else. Watchmen hits theatres March 6th, 2009.

The new, full length Hellboy 2: The Golden Army trailer has hit the net and it’s looks amazing. I was a huge fan of the first film, and this looks like it’s going to be an even more entertaining ride. But does anybody else find that director Guillermo del Toro is trying to make this movie look a little too much like his previous film, Pan’s Labyrinth?

Edward Norton’s long awaited Incredible Hulk trailer has finally hit the net, and it’s exactly what you would expect from a Hulk movie… finally. You don’t get to see the Hulk until the second half of the trailer, but in the first half you see Bruce Banner trying to find a cure for his “disease” while fleeing from the authorities, just like he should be doing instead of having a shouting match with Nick Nolte. And when you finally see the Hulk, he’s up against the Abomination, just who he should be fighting instead of giant mutant poodles. It looks like we’re finally going to see a good, fun Hulk movie when it hits theatres on June 13th 2008.

Indiana Jones, Dark Knight, the new Hulk, X-Files 2… none of these movies stand a chance this summer. The most anticipated movie of the year is officially Iron Man, thanks to this new kickass trailer. Hands down the funniest comedian on Saturday Night Live, Bill Hader, interviews one of the best comicbook writers Ed Brubaker (who just happens to be one of our favorite writers) on his comicbook crime noir series Criminal. It starts off like any normal interview but about halfway through, it gets really funny thanks to Bill and his great facial expressions.

Here’s the new Iron Man trailer that was shown during the Super Bowl. The trailer rocks up until the last scene, which looks like it was taken from a PlayStation 2 game (dare I say it’s hardly even PS3 level graphics?). But that’s just one CG action scene so I’m not really worried that the movie isn’t going to be awesome. Besides, I think Tony Stark (that’s Iron Man out of the armour kids), played flawlessly by Robert Downey Jr, is going to steal the show.

Now if there’s anything that can distract me from the Super Bowl, it’s a naked Angelina Jolie. Here she is in the new Wanted trailer than ran during the Super Bowl. It isn’t that much different from the first Wanted trailer, except for the half a second of pure bliss when a naked Angelina emerges glistening and showing off her killer tattoos.

I was a little let down when I realized that the movie was going to be based on the Wanted comic, and not a direct adaptation, but it looks like it’s still going to be a rocking ride. Wanted hits theatres June 27th.

Marvel has a bunch of new animated shows coming up thanks to the success of their films, and the one that actually impressed me to the point where I had to post it was this Iron Man trailer. The animation is great, but the thing that impressed me was the action scenes (especially with Spider-Man), and it’s a great tease to what we can expect (I hope) with the Iron Man movie, and the inevitable Avengers movie.

Finally, here’s the trailer to Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. The first Hellboy flick was one of my favorite comicbook movie adaptations, and I’ve been clamouring for another one. Well, it looks like Guillermo del Toro and Mike Mignola have delivered in spades. The original cast is back (Ron Perlman as Hellboy, Selma Blair), which is a big relief, and the new villain is an improvement as well. It looks like Hellboy 2 is going to be bigger and better than the first one.
