When I first heard that Frank Miller (creator of 300, Sin City) would be adapting Will Eisner’s The Spirit comicbook for the big screen, I thought it would be a straightforward summer superhero flick, but after checking out this incredibly awesome teaser trailer, it looks like Miller has added his own personal style to the movie and now The Spirit could easily be called Sin City 2… and I couldn’t be happier.

Check out the trailer and these shots of a very leggy Eva Mendes promoting the movie at this past weekend’s New York Comic Con along with her sexy character poster. The Spirit hits theatres in early ‘09.

We haven’t seen Eva Mendes in the longest time, but she’s back and boy did we miss her. Here she is at the premiere of her new movie Live! looking her usual beautiful self. Seeing Eva after so long is like a breath of fresh air… and a badly needed one at that.

Now that is one party I would have loved to attend! Petra Nemcova and Eva Mendes showed up at the Heart Of Gold Ball yesterday and judging by the pictures, it looks like they became close friends. Can you blame them though? Both Petra and Eva are easily considered two of the hottest women on the planet, and if I was either one of them, I would so be hitting on the other one. And before I forget… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Bruce Willis is the luckiest man on the planet.

Eva Mendes gives guys around the world hope (not really) in a recent GQ interview:

“I’m such a cheap date, it’s not even funny. But I’m cheap, not easy. I have high expectations.”

Sure it doesn’t cost much to please Eva, but that doesn’t mean she dates regular guys. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want to be spoiled by rich celebrities only. Now if she does date regular dudes, or bloggers for that matter, I have some coupons for McDonald’s. She’ll have to hurry up though; they expire on February 19.

Filming the Ghost Rider movie gave the scrumptious Eva Mendes nightmares. Oh no! We can’t have that now…

Sexy Latina EVA MENDES endured countless sleepless nights while making new comic book movie GHOST RIDER, because the creepy film kept giving her nightmares.

The actress became so tired she called in a doctor to help her make it through the night. She says, “I was having nightmares at the end of this. I was in bad shape.

“We were shooting nights, which is the entire night - until six in the morning when the sun comes up. I was in a bad space and it got a little creepy for me and I was having these awful nightmares.”

C’mon, I saw the trailer, it doesn’t look scary one bit. And how can you get creeped out when you’re surrounded by hundreds of crew members on the set? The only thing I can think of that would have creeped out Eva, and creeps me out as well, is Nic Cage’s hair for the film.
