Self proclaimed geek and Popoholic favorite Rosario Dawson, has called it quits with her boyfriend of two years, Jason Lewis. The reason for the break-up isn’t known, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it had something to do with her new career as a comicbook creator. Not everyone can handle a perfect girl. Whatever the case may be, Jason Lewis looses out, and geeks around the world rejoice.

I was a little worried after seeing her new look, but it turns out she just had her hair in a ponytail. No girl should ever cut her hair that short, got it? Ok, enough talking about girls hair. Here’s Rosario Dawson at the Willow Awards Benefit showing off her new hairdo. I’m not too sure if it’s just cut short in the front or if it’s all short, but however it’s done, it doesn’t look too good. I’m not sure what possesses good looking girls to chop their hair like that. She better have a good excuse, like a movie role. Maybe it’s for her role(s) in Grindhouse? If that’s the case, then all is forgiven.

Rosario Dawson is my type of girl! No, not just because she’s one of the hottest celebrities I’ve ever seen (still a good reason); I like Rosario because she’s smart. You see, she chose to be in BOTH parts of Grind House. Why settle for being in a Rodriguez movie or a Tarantino movie when you can be in both? Smart. So we’ll be getting an extra dose of Rosario in the double feature, which is something we all need. We also need some more pictures of her tongue. Wow.

Rosario Dawson teams up with writer David Atchison and artist Tony Shasteen this spring to launch the Occult Crimes Taskforce, a comic book miniseries that tells the story of rookie detective Sophia Cruz, who is recruited into the ranks of the NYPD’s covert police investigation unit whose primary duty is to monitor and control supernatural activity in the Manhattan underground

Not only did Rosario co-create the comic, the lead character is actually based on her.

“Sophia was created by a family friend [writer David Atchison], who created the story and the character based on what he knows about me. He created the character out of my personality, my image, my background and my attitudes.”

With Sin City, Clerks 2 and now Occult Crimes Taskforce, Rosario is definitely becoming a fanboy’s #1 babe. The comic will be published by Image Comics this July.
