I was on the verge of giving up hope that we would never get to drool over the old sexy cleavage-popping Scarlett Johansson, especially after last week’s post (see here), but thank the heavens for… wait for it… Dolce & Gabbana. Here’s Scarlett Johansson at the Mango New Collection launch party in Madrid looking like a fraction of the hottie that we’re used to seeing. I seriously don’t know what’s going on with this girl; one day she looks like the old sexy and cleavage popping Scarlett that we all fell in love with (see here), and literally the next day she looks like the Addams Family reject (see here) that we’ve been seeing for the better part of the year. Today she looks like a mix of the two extremes, but without the cleavage, which is disappointing to say the least. Sigh… I don’t know what to say other than the girl is driving me nuts.

I have no idea why she didn’t show up at the event wearing some sexy Mango clothing like she does in the advertisements (see here), but let’s look at it this way; it could have been worse (see here). Jesus, that sounds almost as bad as it looks.

As you guys know, Scarlett Johansson likes to sing. Badly. But a few weeks ago I posted the new music video of her collaboration with Pete Yorn, and it was surprisingly… not bad. Obviously, Pete Yorn had a lot to do with the song sounding somewhat good, as well as Scarlett’s singing and vocal track.

But when it comes to magazine photoshoots, such as this one from Glamour’s November issue, it would be best if Yorn locks himself in a recording studio, and lets Scarlett do what she does best, on her own, which is look freaking hot from head to toe. Unfortunately, Yorn totally ruins what could have been a much needed sizzling solo Scarlett Johansson photoshoot. So, Pete Yorn for Scarlett’s music career = good. Pete Yorn for Scarlett’s photoshoots = bad. Very Bad.

The last time I heard Scarlett Johansson sing, my ears bled. Actually, they bled profusely, so I don’t know why I took the chance and listened to her new little duet she did with Pete Yorn called “Relator”. Surprisingly though, the tune is actually pretty good. And catchy. It’s all thanks to Peter Yorn, but still. And it looks like she sexed up her Addams Family look quite a bit as well.
