Iron Man

I don’t really do posts on video games anymore, but I just couldn’t resist the awesomeness that is the Iron Man video game trailer. If this is the kind of action scenes we can expect with the movie, it is going to be insane. Check it out and drool.

Guitar Hero

My favorite video game at the moment is Guitar Hero, and I’m pretty sure it’s yours as well, so I decided to post these pictures of Brooke Burke and a show-stopping Olivia Wilde at the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock launch party. I’m not sure about you guys, but I would gladly give up my Guitar Hero games and guitar to play checkers with Olivia… although I would still be allowed to buy them all over again.

Star Wars Force Unleashed

About a year ago, everyone (including me) was gushing over some preview footage of a Star Wars video game in development that had some pretty sweet displays of force powers. Well, that game is about to be released.

Here’s the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, where you have all the powers of the force at your disposal and where you get to play as… get this… Darth Vader’s apprentice. Now how cool does that sound? The game will be released next spring on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation’s 2 and 3.

Transformers

Are you a little upset that there weren’t that many Transformers fight scenes in the trailers and can’t wait to see them duke it out in movie? Don’t fret. Here’s the opening scene from the upcoming Transformers video game, and it is nuts. Best of all they’re using the original voice actor from the cartoon for Megatron, Frank Welker, and not Hugo Weaving.

Transformers

For those of you who were upset that you didn’t get to hear any of the Transformers speak in the latest trailer, or that the filmmakers decided to cast Hugo Weaving as Megatron instead of Frank Welker (voice in the cartoon), this one’s for you. It’s a behind the scenes video of the Transformers Movie video game with Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker who will voice Megatron in the video game!
Hearing Optimus Prime shout “transform, and roll out” and Megatron threaten to the Autobots will give any kid from the 80’s goosebumps. I guarantee.

Game Consoles

Here’s GT Countdown’s Top Ten Worst Game Consoles video. Some of these things are so bad that you’ll be shocked that they were ever released. I’m embarrassed to admit that I actually owned one of these pieces of junk. No, I’m not telling you which one. You’ll just laugh.

Dirty Harry Video Game Trailer

Dirty Harry Video Game

Dirty Harry is the latest “classic guy movie” video game to be heading to the next generation consoles. And as you can tell by the preview, the game is going to be a blast to play. And here’s the best part:

“Clint Eastwood will reprise his role as “Dirty Harry” Callahan, lending his voice and likeness as well as consulting and creative input into the game. Reports have been confirmed that Gene Hackman and Laurence Fishburne are also going to provide their voices.”

New Dirty Harry dialogue voiced by Clint Eastwood. How sweet is that? You’ll be able to chase down punks in 1970’s San Francisco at some point in 2007. Can’t wait.
