Here are the rumored 26 classic games that will be available for download to play on the Nintendo Wii. I’m a little disappointed that there are only 26 but the list is packed with a bunch of great games (Ninja Gaiden!) and I’m sure they’ll release another 26 in no time. Although, I’ll be extremely upset if they don’t offer NHL Hockey 94, the best hockey video game ever, in the second batch.

Here are the girls of DOA: Dead or Alive. Based on the popular video game, the film stars super hotties Jamie Pressly, Holly Valance, Devon Aoki, Natassia Malth, and Sarah Carter. There’s nothing better than a group of girls with samurai swords. Actually, there is. An all girl beach volleyball game. Lucky for us the movie has both! I don’t know how I’m not going to enjoy this one. Click here for the trailer.

Rumors were running wild this past weekend that E3 would be cancelled for economic reasons (in other words they’re not making enough money). In Monday’s press release, the organization behind E3, the ESA, stated that the event is not cancelled but will be changed significantly.

“Over the years, it has become clear that we need a more intimate program, including higher quality, more personal dialogue with the worldwide media, developers, retailers and other key industry audiences.”

It sounds to me like E3 will now be more of a video game company insiders meeting than a convention for the fans. That totally sucks. It also probably means less E3 babes, which is bad news for everyone.

Gamepro.com has a 55 Greatest Moments in Gaming feature and I have to say, even with 55 spots, they missed dozens of stand out moments. The “reveal” in System Shock 2 is one of my favorites. Ninja Gaiden’s ending, taking off for a mission in Wing Commander… my list can go on and on.

Here’s a preview of the new Reservoir Dogs video game (based on the movie). You can play as any one of the key characters from the movie in your goal of reaching the rendezvous point. And just like in the movie, you can 
cut people’s ears off in the game. That’s an actual move you can do! No wonder the game is banned in Australia.
