One of the coolest cats on the planet, Patrick Swayze, passed away yesterday after his long battle with cancer. Most of you guys are probably too young to have seen Swayze in his prime, but to me and my generation, this guy kicked serious ass. And he did so in one of the best movies of all time, Road House, and in Point Break, where he played the “villain”, but you couldn’t tell because everyone was cheering for him. Hell, he was even cool in chick flicks like Ghost and Dirty Dancing.

Do yourselves a favor and least check out Roadhouse and Point Break. I guarantee that after just one viewing you’ll be getting the urge to rewatch both movies over and over again. And here’s my favorite scene from Road House just to give you an idea of the awesomeness that is Swayze. Rest in peace dude.

Now this is what I’m talking about! Black Dynamite is a good ol’ fashioned blaxploitation 70s flick for the 21st century, and it looks so damn good. Seriously, the trailer is hilarious and is filled with all kinds of awesomeness from beginning to end. A release date hasn’t been set yet, but I’ll let you guys know as soon as one is announced. Oh. My. God! If you thought Charlize Theron was scorching hot before, wait until you see, and hear her in this episode of Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. Charlize pretty much had my jaw on the floor already, but at the 3:10 mark she starts talking about how hot it is and how sweaty her legs are, and how she wants to jump naked into a pool, and sweet Christmas I nearly started convulsing. She is so freaking hot. And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Zach Galifianakis is the funniest comedian of the decade. Enjoy!
