Now normally when you mix a CGI character with an annoying voice and slapstick comedy, the end result is not pretty (Jar Jar Binks says it all, right?), but in the case of the foul-mouthed Wheelie… he’s freaking awesome! If you thought that the Transformers were the only CGI generated characters to star in the two Transformers movies, then you were dead wrong. Check out this hilarious video of a bunch of geeks who are claiming that Megan Fox isn’t actually a real person but is in fact a CGI effect. You know what though? I believe them! Here’s the damn creepy trailer for Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese’s latest collaboration Shutter Island. I’m a little surprised that the duo would go for what looks like a straight thriller/suspense movie, but it does look really good and it doesn’t look like they’re chasing another Oscar so this could turn out to be a great flick. This post doesn’t really have anything to do with A-list celebrities or half-naked hotties, but I’ve been eagerly waiting to see It Might Get Loud since I first heard about it over a year ago. It’s a documentary featuring U2’s The Edge, Lez Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, and Jack White of The White Stripes all getting together and talking shop and ripping their guitars. The tease of all three of these guys jamming together is worth the price of admission alone. It Might Get Loud hits theatres August 14th, 2009.

Here’s the G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra preview clip that was shown during this past weekend’s MTV Movie Awards. I have my problems with quite a few things (Storm Shadow’s costume, The Baroness’ absent accent, the Joe’s stupid looking combat suits, etc…), but the movie looks like it’s going to be a blast. I’m actually surprised that they went with the sci-fi angle when it came to the weapons and vehicles, and after checking out the video I’m glad they did because it makes for some pretty awesome effects. G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra hits theatres August 7th, 2009. Yo Joe!

Here’s the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen preview clip from last night’s 2009 MTV Movie Awards. I’ve got to admit, I’ve been distracted by all the other summer blockbusters this year (Star Trek, Terminator, G.I. Joe, etc…), so my anticipation for TF2 has been on the down low, but this sneak peak just kicked TF2 back onto the number one spot on my must-see list. I’ll be honest with you guys; I haven’t heard about Pandorum before today, but I’m glad I finally did because this movie looks awesome. It’s been way too long since we got a good Aliens-like “hunted on a space station” sci-fi flick, and judging by the trailer, Pandorum looks like it’s going to deliver. Dennis Quaid, Ben Foster, and Antje Traue, who is the cutie in the photo above, star in the movie. Pandorum hits theatres September 4th, 2009.
