Here’s Gwen Stefani’s new music video, “Sweet Escape”. Even Gwen looking hot couldn’t save this video. Her songs and videos from her Sweet Escape album have been on the annoying side and not very good; a complete 180 from her last solo effort. I think it’s time she heads back into the studio with No Doubt. The sooner, the better.

Gwen Stefani wiped the floor with Fergie in our “Who’s the better Popstar” poll we conducted last week. Gwen received 1,131 votes, and Fergie got a measly 161 votes. Ya, that was brutal. Although, maybe the outcome would have been different if the poll was held after the premiere of Gwen’s new music video, “Wind It Up“. Eeesh.

OK, it’s debate time. Who’s better? Gwen Stefani or Fergie? Both of their solo careers are very similar. Many people would say they’re too similar. Anyone with ears could tell you that London Bridge sounds a lot like Hollaback Girl. Fergie even dresses like Gwen in the video. But then, Gwen comes out with “Wind it Up” which sounds more hip-hop than her previous work, and you have to admit, it sounds like a song you would expect Fergie to release. And why is she doing hip-hop? She’s a rock chick. So this poll is to determine who you guys think is the better of the two. Who has the better songs, who’s more original, and more importantly, who’s the hotter of the two. Go!

Gwen Stefani’s new single “Wind It Up” has been released. And a lot sooner than was expected too. I couldn’t stand the song when I first heard it, but it has really grown on me. Still feels like there’s something missing though. Maybe the video will fill it out. Give it a listen.

Gwen Stefani has a new solo album coming out this December. Wait a sec… wasn’t she supposed to be recording a new No Doubt album? Well it looks as if Gwen’s making too much money with her solo career and clothing line to care about releasing another No Doubt cd. But honestly, I really don’t mind. Her tunes are actually good and she’s fun to look at. Check out those legs! And I can’t wait for Gwen to get back in the game and show up Fergie.
