Alright my peeps, it’s time for yet another giveaway! And it just so happens to be connected to my old college guru and one of my favorite entertainers/filmmakers, Kevin Smith! The fine folks over at Gotham Books have given us three copies of the groovy new paperback edition of Kevin Smith’s “Tough Sh*t: Life Advice from a Fat, Lazy Slob Who Did Good” to give away to three lucky readers/Kevin Smith fans. All you have to do is email us and tell us why you deserve the book more than the next Kevin Smith fan.

The contest starts now and ends Thursday (February 7th) at midnight and the winner will be announced on Friday morning (February 8th) on this very same post.
I just finished regarding the book, and not only is it entertaining from the first to the last page, and filled with inspirational tales, but it also includes some juicy behind the scenes stories that only Kevin Smith can tell. The Harvey Weinstein chapter alone is worth picking up the book. Highly recommended! Alright, good luck!

The fine folks over at Limelight Edition have given us three copies of the groovy new book “If You Like Quentin Tarantino…” by Katherine Rife to give away to three lucky readers/Tarantino fans. Regarding the book, it’s really, really cool, and perfect for a Tarantino fan, or even a fan of movies. It goes over each and every single one of Tarantino’s films, including the newest one and my pick for “Best Movie of 2012”, Django Unchained, and lays out the movies, tv shows, and other cool stuff that influenced Tarantino and/or you would totally dig. Personally, I owe the author of this book a huge thanks for pointing out Lady Snowblood (a Kill Bill influence). I’ve already watched it twice and it’s already a favorite. Trust me, if you like Kill Bill as much as I do, you are going to freak out when you watch this flick. Alright, good luck!

Alright my peeps, as I mentioned in my “Top Ten Celebrity Babes of 2012!” post earlier this week, I made a separate top ten list for models this year since there were so freaking many that I posted and that stole the show in 2012. And honestly, if I didn’t make a separate list, the top ten celebs list would have been overrun by scrawny models.
Ok, so just like the top ten celebs list, this list consists of the top ten models that ruled this website and made me drool the most in 2012. This isn’t a list of the sexiest models of all time, so please don’t send me angry emails about leaving out Cindy Crawford or Keeley Hazell. Got it? Good. Oh yeah, and one more important note; clicking on the model’s name or photo brings you to their respective archive where you can see all of their sexy photos and shenanigans from 2012. 10. Irina Shayk
Irina Shayk didn’t have an overwhelming amount of exposure in 2012, but she unleashed enough of her ridiculously sexy body to make it onto the list. Plus, her Esquire UK photoshoot consisted of some of the sexiest photos that we had the pleasure of drooling over in 2012. Good lord, that top photo still does it for me…
9. Kelly Brook
2012 was Kelly Brook‘s comeback year, and not only did she return to modeling full-time, especially for her own lingerie line, but she looked sexier than ever. And bustier than ever as well. That merits a spot in the top ten alone if you ask me.

Happy New Year my peeps! I hope you’re all having a fun and safe New Year’s Day and enjoying your families and all that stuff. Now, onto the most anticipated and most shwingtastic moment of the year… “Popoholic’s Top Ten Celebrity Babes of 2012!” Ok, so here’s the skinny; this list consists of the top ten celebrity babes that ruled this website and made me drool the most in 2012. This isn’t a list of the hottest babes ever or anything like that, so you won’t be seeing Angelina Jolie on it. I’m strictly focusing on the past year’s worth of celebrity hotness. Got that? Good. Oh yeah, one more thing. You’ll notice that there aren’t any models on the list this year. That’s because I’m doing a separate “Top Ten Models of 2012” list, so… lucky you! I’ll be posting that one later on this week.

10. Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson’s hotness has been hot and cold for me for the last couple of years, but this past year it leaned more towards the hot side. Especially when she actually unleashed her cleavage and curves and went blond. And on top of looking like her old bodacious self most of the year, the most popular post on Popoholic in 2012 was Scarlett’s bikini pictures from last February. And you know what? It still is the most popular post. Which is crazy, because the shots of her booty are not flattering whatsoever. Well, her bodacious bikini bosom and curves are a pretty damn sexy distraction. Oh yeah, and I really dug her as Black Widow in the Avengers.
9. Maria Menounos
My Greek goddess Maria Menounos comes in at number nine and it’s all thanks to her a) adorable hotness, b) insanely sexy bikini appearances (see here and here), and c) her beyond awesome booty that she busted out more than ever these past twelve months. And god bless her for that, because her booty is one of the most amazing things ever created. Hot damn is it ever! Give my sexy little Greek olive a round of applause my peeps!

Listen up my fellow fanboys! Our new nerd king, Simon Pegg, has a new book hitting stores this week (June 9th), Nerd Do Well: A Small Boy’s Journey to Becoming a Big Kid, and it’s a memoir, and having breezed through it this past weekend, I can tell you that it’s all kinds of awesome and hilarious, and a must read if you’re a Simon Pegg fan and/or if you’re remotely close to being a fanboy/nerd. And especially if you know how easy it is shooting womp-rats in Beggars’ Canyon…

Now just so you know how this works, the list has nothing to do with gossip or scandals, work output, or who was the most searched celebrity on the internet, or blah, blah, blah. This list consists of the top ten babes who I thought rocked 2010. With their hotness. That’s it. 10. Arianny Celeste
UFC babe Arianny Celeste made it on to 2010′s top ten list because of only one photoshoot. Yeah, that’s right; one photoshoot. But sweet Christmas, it was something to behold. In fact, Arianny’s drop dead sexy Maxim photoshoot was, hands down, the sexiest photoshoot of the year in my not so humble opinion. I could just imagine the chaos this peach would have caused if she actually did more than one photoshoot last year…
9. Rachel Bilson
Yeah, Rachel Bilson is still my number one celebrity babe crush, so she makes the list even if she didn’t do anything other than prance around the town this past year. Having said that… nobody, and I mean nobody, looks more adorably hot than Rachel Bilson when she struts her stuff around town, especially in a pair of short shorts, which she thankfully wears very often. Her groovy little legs, her gummybear thighs… hoochie mama!

Alright all you naughty boys and girls, I have some last minute shopping to do (as usual), but before I run out I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Whatever-You-Celebrate, and what better way to do so than with a Christmas-themed lingerie photoshoot featuring my future ex-wife, Candice Swanepoel? That’s right; there isn’t a better, or more shwingtastic way! So enjoy Candice looking like a naughty little minx, and be safe and enjoy your families my peeps.
   
But wait, there’s more! Back by of popular demand, and because it has somehow become a tradition, here’s the Star Wars Holiday Special, which aired only once in 1978 and never again… for reasons which will become quite clear once you start watching this cringe-fest. Having said that, it’s a heck of a lot better than the new trilogy. Enjoy!
